Upgrade as College for Teachers Education by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi

The College was upgraded to C.T.E. (College for Teacher Education) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (M.H.R.D.) Government of India, New Delhi – a sponsored scheme in 1988. Under this scheme, Content-Based and Theme Based Orientation Courses for the Government In-Service Secondary School teachers are organized every year. Apart from the above program, the Research is also done by the college faculty members under the C.T.E scheme.
